Alexandra Brown Richards, DDS, MSD is excited to be returning to her hometown to serve the community that she proudly calls home. Raised in Seminole County, she values the strong sense of connection and belonging that defined her early years and is passionate about giving back through exceptional orthodontic care.
Dr. Brown Richards is especially passionate about treating children and teens and finds it incredibly rewarding to watch their confidence grow as their smiles transform. She also enjoys caring for patients of all ages and provides personalized orthodontic treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs. Her philosophy extends beyond straight teeth and focuses on creating healthy, natural-looking smiles that support confidence and lifelong oral wellness.
Outside of the office, Dr. Brown Richards enjoys staying active through cycling, tennis, yoga, and travel. She loves exploring new restaurants and cuisines and cherishes spending quality time with her husband, who is her college sweetheart, and their daughter, whether at home or on their next adventure together.
Education
Dr. Alexandra Brown Richards earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry. She then completed her orthodontic residency at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, where she also received her Master of Science in Dental Sciences degree.
Through her advanced training, Dr. Brown Richards developed a strong foundation in comprehensive orthodontic care and a patient-centered approach focused on long-term oral health, function, and aesthetics.
